I didn't even try to stick to the budget this month.
Similar to last year, we had a big trip to the outlet mall in Lake of the Ozarks planned for spring break, but our plans fell through. We still ended up going to the local outlet mall (not quite as big, but still good!) and I picked up a few extra items for spring. No regrets!
blue striped shirt | J. Crew Factory | $24, originally $65 Oxford stripes have been EVERYWHERE this spring and it couldn't have been more timely! I love this shirt because not only is it trendy, it's super-comfortable and work-appropriate. I also feel that although they are especially trendy right now, Oxford stripes are always a classic.
pink slides | Forever XXI | $16 I've been on the biggest hot pink kick the last year or so. I was looking for a pair of strappy pink heels, but found these lovely sandals instead!
black embroidered tank | Old Navy | $18, originally $27 I own this tank in mustard and love the fit and fabric, so purchasing it in black was a no-brainer! It's perfect for layering under a cardigan or jacket, or for wearing on its own!
orange crochet-detail tank | Old Navy | $20, originally $27 I can't get enough flowy tanks to wear with cardigans, skirts, jeans/pants, and more. This is great for layering with printed pieces since it's solid, but still has some textured detail!
nude wedges | J. Crew Factory | $47, originally $120 I've heard of these Sylvia wedges from a number of sources, and have always wanted some, but they were never worth it at the $120 price tag. I saw a 50% off sale going on this month and found a coupon code to use on top of that, so I was able to snag these for about 1/3 of the normal price!
pink blazer | JC Penney via Clothes Mentor | $10, originally $12 A hot pink blazer has been on my list FOREVER, and I finally found the right one at Clothes Mentor when I went in to do my monthly CM Remix post!
black crossbody | local boutique | $9 I have been looking for a good black crossbody for a while, and I found the one on sale when a local boutique was going out of business!
pencil skirt | Ann Taylor via Clothes Mentor | $10, originally $12 I have been eyeing this skirt at Clothes Mentor for months. Months! So I finally pulled the trigger on it this month, and I couldn't be happier with it.
